Hubbard County was known for many wonderful resorts.  Back in the 1920s primitive “Fish Camps” were popular with fishermen.  Resort owners came around over the years to include activities for women and children, indoor bathrooms and hot and cold running water!Hamiltons Island Lake

The Brown Bag Lunch Series continues at 12 Noon on Thursday July 18 with local author Ren Holland.  He is the author of The Edge of Itasca and The Early Resorts of Minnesota.  He will be leading a session called “Guess Which Resort?”  I hope you will join us!
