Photos of Chamberlain

September 19, 2013 by Hubbard County Historical Museum Director

Martin Anderson shared some old photos of Chamberlain.

This is outside the General Store that was owned by Charles W. Anderson.  In the photo we have left Charles W. Anderson,  on the step unknown woman, Tilda Anderson, seated from left Laura Libby Anderson and Martin Anderson.

The  photo was taken in Chamberlain.  Tilda Anderson and Martin Anderson are in the photo.

Church, General Store and other buildings.  The photo is from around 1927-1928.

Such a small town… Looking back, I suspect they thought it was paradise.

  2. Dorothy (Pritchard) Crook says:

I think the church pictured in the photo is the White Oak Baptist Church (and is still holding worship services there in Chamberlain).
